Hallowe'en!

In England, Halloween is nicknamed, Nutcracker Night, Snap Apple Night, Mischief Night, All Hallows' Eve, and Hallowe'en. Families sit in front of a fire, roasting nuts and eating apples while they told stories and played games throughout the evening. In more modern times, the American tradition of trick-or-treating and getting dressed up has influenced their culture. I believe this is a great way for families and friends to share a special connection together and they should keep up with these fun and festive traditions.

In Blackpool, England, they decorated entire roads in celebration of this grand evening. It became known as Halloween Highway. I think this shows a fun side of England and their high spirits towards this awesome holiday.

As you can see, Halloween in England is very similar to how we celebrate it here in America. We are all keeping the spirit alive and well through our special, spooky night!
